Gordon Tucker, age 90, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Kansas City VA Medical Center. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Memory Hill Gardens.
Gordon was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Tucker; mother, Lillian Tucker; father, George Tucker; brother, Ernest Tucker; sister, Phyllis Tucker.
He is survived by his daughters, Julie Brown and Kristin Randall; sons, David Tucker, Ross Tucker and Johnathan Tucker; grandchildren, Swatara, Talon and Terik Tucker, Karen and Erik Tucker, Aaron and Chance Johnson, Twee and Astra Tucker.
Gordon was a member of the 82nd Airborne, a Boeing consultant and an entrepreneurial inventor. He was proud of his service in the military and his work on gasification. He was an imaginative thinker who contributed to the success of any company he worked for and led. He continued working until he was 81 years old and would have continued on if he could have. He loved his family and his family loves him. He will be sorely missed by all of us.
