Just saw where Harry passed. Met him at Delta Airlines 1970. One of the nicest I ever met and tons of fun. Gave him a camouflaged poncho I had brought back from Viet Nam and he would wear it just riding around Atl. Would split a bologna  sandwich with him when we really didn't have much else to eat at work. Lost contact with him for a long time and called him when working security for Gov. HUNT early 90s. We both had come a long way by then. I was always going to see him but just never made it. I deeply regret that. RIP MY FRIEND!!

Harry and I were very good friends since 9th grade. 
There will never be another Harry   He always had an answer to all problems.  We shared a lot of laughs through the years.   He was a mess. He has had a lot of pain for years. Now his pain is gone. It is hard to believe he is gone. He will be missed by many.

I worked for Harry back in 1976. I will never forget going down to his place on the river and all
Of us swapping stories , cooking out , and boating . Harry was a Tuscaloosa icon .

One time Harry got mad and threw the bands equipment in the parking lot. Drums were rolling out in the street

They will never be another Harry,  he was one of a kind and loved by everyone that knew him.   If you were feeling bad and you walked into the room where Harry was you would automatically start smiling or laughing.   Harry was just that kind of person.   He will be missed by everyone. 

Harry was the greatest high school basketball player I ever saw.  I was a freshman at Tuscaloosa High in 1961 when Harry led the Black Bears to a 34-0 season and the state championship.  We were fellow members of the Alabama A-Club.  Harry put me through  a rough A-Club initiation but I liked him anyway!  He was always a kind gentleman and everyone loved him.  My condolences to Harry's family.  He will be truly missed but never forgotten.
