Helen Jean Perry

BROOKWOOD - Helen Perry, age 79, of Brookwood, died August 17, 2018 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She was our rock. She was the calm in every storm, most dependable person we ever knew, and the glue that kept everything together. Helen Jean was the strongest woman we knew. Always making sue that family and friends were taken care of. Her laugh and smile filled the room with happiness, and now her soul will always surround us.

She is preceded is death by her husband Paul E. Perry; mother, Kate Crawford; and father, Hester Carter.

She is survived by her sister, Francis Snyder; daughters Pamela Smith and Sonya Wallace; grandchildren Tim McCrory (Ashley), James Smith (Brittany), and Kayla Wallace; great-grandchildren Davin, Allie, and Hadlee McCrory, and Pierson and Sawyer Smith.
