BUHL – Sally Irene Posey Duncan, born January 24, 1916, passed away at home on December 22, 2022. At age 106 and 11 months, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Duncan; daughter, Marguerite Rouse; grandson, Jon Rouse; parents, Herbert and Clara Posey; three of her sisters, Evelyn Busy, Margie Kaminski, and Myrtle Jean Walker; and two brothers, Henry Posey and James Posey.
Irene is survived by her sister, Nellie Jo Milam of Clanton, Ala.; her son, Roy Duncan; son-in-law, Aubrey Joe Rouse; grandchildren, David Rouse (Glenda), Rhonda Jo Busby (Paul); great-grandchildren, Pamela Rogowski (Siegfried), Alan Rouse (Natalie), Adam Smith (Carli), and Joseph Smith; great-great-grandchildren, Samantha Rogowski, and Keenan and Morgan Jade Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Since 1959 she was an active member of Grants Creek Sunday School and discipleship trainings for as long as she was physically able.
Pallbearers will be Roy Jacobs, Eddie Jacobs, Alan Rouse, Adam Smith, Joseph Smith, and Siegfried Rogowski.
