James Don Stephens, age 79, of Northport, Ala., died December 21, 2015, at home. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Shirley Faye Stephens, of Northport, Ala.; daughter, Karen Mowdy (Mark); son, Quinn Stephens (Audrey) of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; brother, Hayse Stephens of Birmingham, Ala.; grandchildren, Jared Mowdy (Mallory), Jessica Shows (Joseph), Kyle Stephens (Lindsey), Shane Stephens, Patrick Collins and Emily Collins; and five great-grandchildren.
