Jane M. Ball

Jane McClendon Ball, a life-long resident of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama was born August 26, 1927, and died June 28, 2021 at her home in the presence of her loving family. She is predeceased by her parents, Wood and Maurine McClendon, and her husband of 60 years, Fred M. Ball. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Jones, daughter Joanne Steverson (Rob) and son, Daniel Fred Ball (Michele), grandchildren: Walt Steverson, Marcie Steverson Gaylor (David), and Doug Steverson (Jilleyn), Candace Munn (Matt) and April Eaves (Tim) great-granddaughters: Katherine Steverson, Emily Stverson, Lundie Gaylor, Charleigh Gaylor, Nora Steverson, Clara Steverson, Madison Munn, Annabelle Munn and Reagan Eaves.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation in the Chapel beginning at 1:00 p.m. Bro George Shaddix will conduct the service and Wade Hamner will provide music.

Jane was a faithful member of Northwood Hills Baptist Church for nearly 60 years. She loved her Joy Sunday School Class and rarely missed services until her illness forced her to stay home. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and grandsons-in-law. Honorary pallbearers are her dear friends, Bob and Aline Hubbard, Bonnie Fields, Delilah Thomas, ladies of the Joy Sunday School Class, and her many care-givers at Hospice of West Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northwood Hills Baptist Church Building fund and Hospice of West of Alabama.
