Jeremy Jay Fowler, age 33, of Tuscaloosa, died June 24, 2011, at UAB Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Victor Bonner officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred W. Fendley.
Survivors include his mother, Lizabeth (Libby) Fowler; his daughter, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Fowler of Birmingham; and his grandparent, Lee Ballenger.
Jeremy was a loving and devoted father, son, and grandson. He enjoyed outdoor sports with his daughter and his favorite uncle. Jeremy's love for Jesus brought him through many trials and tribulations.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Murray, Desmond Martin, Troy Powell, Terry Fendley, Ricky Boyd, and Tom Ellard.
Honorary pallbearers are friends of the family.
