Jerri Lynn Burns Bobo

NORTHPORT – Jerri Lynn Burns Bobo of Northport, age 57, preceded in death by father Charles Vernon Burns and mother Virginia Joyce Burns, passed on April 21, 2017. Lynn was a loving mother and caring sister. Lynn fought a long battle with cancer. After loving care provided by her daughter, sisters and brother, God has taken her home. She lived a full life of servitude to others. Lynn will be remembered for her kindness, dedication to UA and for helping anyone in need. She will be dearly missed by daughter, Christy; sisters, Wanda Christian and Connie Rester; brother, Eddie Burns; Tucker, extended family and Northport FUMC. The family is grateful to Dr. Jimmy Tu, Dr. Shawn Tai, staff of The Cancer Care Center of Tuscaloosa and home care providers. Services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Memory Chapel with Reverend Mike Spivey officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Burns, Chase Patton, Jonathan Bobo, Jay McCollum, Jason McCollum, Mark Perschel and Mike Davis. Lynn was overjoyed with the work Christy is allowed to help with for children through Terry and Nick Saban's Foundation.
