COTTONDALE – Jessie Bell Griffin, age 69, of Cottondale, Ala., died October 5, 2017 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memory Chapel Mausoleum with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mozelle and Cleveland Woodrow Griffin; brothers, Walter Levi Griffin and Joseph Wayne Griffin; sister, Charlotte Ann Griffin; daughter, Angela Geneve Holloway; and son, Mark William Holloway.
Survivors include daughters, Frances Renee Holloway and Jessica Lynn Holloway; son, Aubrey Wayne Holloway (Cindy); sisters, Kathy Renee Griffin, Rosetta Archie (Bill) and Ginny Howard; brother, Cleveland Woodrow Griffin, II and 16 grandchildren.
Jessie Bell Griffin was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Ms. Griffin cherished family and friends…far too many to name. A proud American and lifelong Alabama football fan, she lived as fiercely as she loved. She will live on through all she touched.
