Jewell Spradley Glenn passed away on April 28, 2022, at home, just days before her 102nd birthday on May 1st. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday May 7, 2022 with visitation 1 hour prior at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. 2200 Skyland Blvd. East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mabel Spradley; husband, DC Glenn and son, Danny Glenn.
Jewell is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Gayle Glenn; 4 grandchildren, Denise Collins, Chris Glenn, Justin O'Neal, and Kate Leonard; 12 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Steven, Shawn, Rachel, Spencer, John Paul, Christian, Alex, Gavin, Donovan, Bella, and Gideon. She is also survived and will be missed by many family members.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Jewell loved Alabama football and followed them every year. She was the oldest long time member of Forest Lake United Methodist Church, in Tuscaloosa.
