Born on September 29, 1944, in Birmingham, Jimmy was the son of Sue (Sudduth) and James F. Campbell. He built a career as a landman with Hunt Oil Companies where he dedicated many years of service and ultimately retired as Senior Landman. His professionalism, integrity, and steady leadership earned him the respect of colleagues and friends throughout his career.
Jimmy married Linda Dixon on June 30, 2000, and they shared many meaningful years together. He is survived by his wife, Linda Dixon Campbell; his stepchildren, Bradlea Ann Cox and Thomas Cox and his wife, Kristi, and cherished family friend, Tracy May.
A visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice.
