She is preceded in death by her mother, Sally Brandt; father, Howard Brandt; brother, Ron Brandt.
Joan is survived by her husband, Frederick Taylor Jr.; sons, Douglas Taylor, Casey Taylor, and Christopher Taylor; sister, Vicki Schneibel; grandchildren, Danielle James and Bailey Taylor.
Joan was born in Alberta, Canada and moved to the Oregon Coast as a young girl, where she later graduated high school in Florence, Oregon. She enlisted in the Air Force where she met her husband, Frederick Taylor. Joan was a mother of three boys and had 2 grandchildren. She later retired and moved to Tuscaloosa in 2002.
There will be no service at this time. Burial arrangements will be provided at a later date.
