Joel Stephen Garner

Celebration of Life Services will be held Wednesday, May 4th, at the Capitol Park Gazebo, 2800 6th Street, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401; from 4:00pm to 7:00p.m.

He was preceded in death by his father Lonnie Lee Garner, his mother Willie Lucille Garner, brother Donnie Garner and sister Faye Garner.

Survivors are his wife, Angela Garner of McCalla, AL, and daughter Brittany Griggs (Michael) of McCalla, AL. Sisters, Diane Reach and Wanda Woods; Brothers, Mike Garner, Dennis Garner, and Gerald Garner.

Grandchildren Ian Griggs and Aerin Griggs.

Steve was born July 1st, 1965 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He worked in the maintenance department of B.F. Goodrich for 9 years. His coworkers are his extended family. Steve was a hardworking man who could fix or build anything. He would help anyone in need. Steve will be greatly missed by many! He always had a joke ready-even if it was a bad one. Steve loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. His favorite music was classic rock and he loved Three Dog Night. Steve was a lifelong Alabama football fan, loved to golf, played softball, and loved to travel to Florida with his grandkids. He was devoted to family.
