

John Tyler Burroughs, age 18, of Cottondale, died January 8, 2016. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with William Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.He was preceded in death by his great-great-great-grandparents, Earline and Cullen Hill; and grandfathers, John Richard Burroughs and Robert Ricky Hill.Survivors include his daughter, Nevaeh Sky Burroughs; mother, Christi Hill Burroughs (Phillip); father, John Richard Burroughs, Jr. (Nicole); grandmothers, Mildred Steele Burroughs and Sueann Rehmel; great-grandmother, Sue Kizziah; step grandmother, Debra Kay Hill; sister, Courtney Deshay Burroughs (Joe Vick); step-sisters, Ashley Miller and Katelyn Cook; niece, Kenzlie Marie Vick; uncles, Anthony Burroughs (Dawn), Ricky Hill (Latonya), Scottie Hill, Donnie Hill, Donald Wheat and Dustin Hill; great-aunt, Vanessa Jones (Tommy); and a host of cousins, close friends and family.Tyler was loved by so many people and always knew how to make you smile and laugh. He always had a smile on his face and was a great person who was taken too early in life. He will be loved by many and will be missed dearly.
