John Nathan Hall

Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM from Safe Haven Church (12143 Lary Lake Road, Northport, AL) on Thursday, November 19, 2020, with Pastor Troy Nicholson and Bro. Tyler LaFoy officiating. A brief Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Funeral Service, also at the Church. Graveside services will immediately follow from Memory Hill Gardens, "Last Supper" Garden, in Tuscaloosa. Memory Chapel, a Dignity provider, is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Hall was born June 27, 1958 to Hilda and the late Richard Hall. He graduated from Tuscaloosa High School and received a baseball scholarship to East Mississippi Junior College. John worked for GAF/Elk Roofing for the last 12 years, prior to his retirement. He loved the Lord and was a member of Safe Haven Church for the last 10 years. A friend to all, he loved to make people laugh. He was an avid hunter, golfer, scuba diver and Alabama Fan.

He was preceded in death by his Father Richard Hall.

John is survived by his wife of 29 years: Bobbie Hall, and two children: Judith “Judi” C. Hall and Benjamin C. “Ben” Hall, one grandson: Connor Adams, his mother: Hilda L. Hall, sisters: Loureesa (Steve) Lindsey and Sherry (Joey) Falgout and one brother: Richard (Judy) Hall.

Serving as active pallbearers will be: Benjamin Hall, Drew Hall, Ryan Falgout, Jonathan McCray, Chevy McCray, Daniel Bobo and Samuel Boswell.

The family wishes to recognize: Doug Morris, Jeremy Hunter and Duke Ducholas, Members of Safe Haven Church and neighbors of Marion Oaks as Honorary Pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Safe Haven Church (Student or Children’s Ministries) or Hospice of West Alabama.
