I remember, fondly, that as a child during the 1970's, my family and the Parr family would always "ring in the new year" together. We would be at their home for a long evening of food and fun. We kids would watch movies and play cards and games. The adults would play cards, drink coffee, and talk. At the stroke of midnight, we got to go outside and start shooting fireworks and playing with sparklers. Mr. John always kept the biggest smile on his face. MY LOVE AND PRAYERS TO THE PARR FAMILY!....Glenda Brand Kilpatrick
