Johnny was truly one of a kind.
A man of great character, he was a hard worker, a devoted husband, wonderful father, and cherished grandfather.
Johnny always embraced life to the fullest; He was always up for a good time, and his spirit thrived on adventure.
A roofer by trade, he loved taking to the road for both work and pleasure. His travels took him from Minot, ND, to Orange Beach, AL, and he never met a stranger along the way.
In many ways, his life was defined by the open road, in which music became another constant companion. He was an avid fan of Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again," which always felt like his true theme song.
He lived his life to the fullest, and his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by the many people whose lives he touched.
Pallbearers will be his nephews and great-nephews.
Honorary pallbearers are all of his friends at Jackie's Lounge, Harry's Bar, and Perdido Beach Resort.
