Johnny Bosch Sr., age 73, of Brookwood, died August 7, 2015, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2015, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Gary Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ann Bosch.Survivors include his daughter, Daphne Smith (Heath); son, Wayne Bosch, sister, Shelia Smith (Ricky); and grandchildren, Ross and Lauren Bosch and Alyssa Smith.Johnny took great pride in his work as shop foreman at McAbee Constructions and instructor of the apprenticeship program at SMW Local 48 for over 25 years.He enjoyed playing sports, fishing, Alabama football and spending time with his family and friends.Pallbearers will be Ross Bosch, Ricky Smith, Kevin Smith, Michael Smith, Jeff Smith and Earl White.Honorary pallbearers are Ed Irwin, Phillip Gay, Danny Hallman, McAbee Construction and SMW Local 48.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center or Hospice of West Alabama.
