Monday April 24, 2023. Known as Jac, he was the oldest child of the late Joseph Augustus Crisler, Jr and the late Elisabeth Crile Crisler of Memphis, Tennessee.
He was predeceased by his sister Elisabeth Crisler Buchignani (Leo) of Memphis, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife of more than seventy-one years Mary Janes Crisler, younger brother Dr Crile Crisler (Puddy) of Norfolk, Virginia; son Stewart Crile Crisler (Rhett) of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and daughter Katherine Crisler Moore (Mackey) of Senatobia, Mississippi and Tuscaloosa, Alabama; six grandchildren, Stewart Crile Crisler, Jr. (Julie), Matthew Calbraith Crisler, Wythe Rhett Crisler (Lisa), Katherine Taylor Gunn, Grace Watson Morse (Stephen), and Crispin Bartlett Watson; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
