Judy Lake

Judy E. Lake, age 82, of Northport, Alabama passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Hunter Creek Rehabilitation.. She was born on January 21, 1943, and grew up in Northport, Alabama. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Memory Hill Gardens with Bro. Gene Dockery officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service at Memory Chapel Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bradley Lake, and her daughter, Dana Lake Rozelle.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, James and Beatrice Essary; sister, Annie R. Sexton; brothers, Donald and James D. Essary.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Lake Bradley (Jimmy) of Mobile, Alabama; and two grandsons, Thomas Drake Rozelle (Haley) of Warner Robbins, Georgia, and Robert Seth Rozelle (Kari) of Augusta, Georgia.

Judy had a lifelong love of gardening and caring for plants, and nothing brought her more joy than receiving fresh flowers. She adored her grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with her family.

Pallbearers will be Reggie Lake, Skip Rozelle, Lloyd Dawe, Seth Rozelle, Thomas Drake Rozelle, and Jimmy Bradley.

Honorary pallbearers are Cheryl Dawe, Joanne Stamps, Michael Hall and staff at Hunter Creek Rehabilitation.
