

Karl Seth Evans, age 81, of Northport, Alabama passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024. Karl was born January 7, 1943 to the late Euel and Edaline Willcutt Evans. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sue Evans; brothers, Kenneth Evans, Mike Beard and Harold Fleenor and sister Laura Gayle Evans and great granddaughter, Adelyn Rose Booth.
Mr Evans is survived by his daughter, Melissa Evans Booth (Tim), Karl DeWayne Evans (Stacey); brother, Keith Evans; brother-in-law, Jackie Cooper; grandchildren, Seth D Booth (Brittney) and Alysa Danielle Booth; great grandson (due in December), Warren Timothy Booth.
A visitation for Karl will be held Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd E, Tuscaloosa, Al. Following the visitation will be a graveside funeral service at 3:00 PM at Memory Hill Gardens, 2200 Skyland Blvd E, Tuscaloosa, Al. Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Booth, Seth Booth, Tony Gray, John Ingram, Rick Sheffield and Tommy Jameson. Honorary pallbearers will be UAB Medical Center, Dr. Emily Wasson and Dr. Allison Johnson, DCH Regional Medical Center, Northport Fire and Rescue crew and Ambulance service, Dr. Anand Paney, Dr. Brian Hogan, Dr. Jeff Laubenthal, CRNP Lacy Quarles and Amedisys Home Health-Jill Parrot and Wall Hare.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his caretakers, whom he loved dearly, my family Norma Gray, Phyllis Walker and Cyndee Isom.
Karl finished hardwood floors for Russell S. Lee Floor and Tile for 35 years before retiring. He loved the outdoors, watching hummingbirds, his flowering angel trumpets and gardening. He loved Alabama football, Brave baseball and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play baseball and softball. He also enjoyed putting puzzles together and spending time at reunions with all of his family. He loved Tim's COOKING!! He was the best father/best friend and PawPaw to the grandchildrens and uncle Karl to a host of nieces and nephews. He was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed.
