Nancy Kim (Earnest) Price, age 73, passed away peacefully at home on June 9, 2025 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was born on October 16, 1951 in Bessemer, Alabama to Edith Cordelia (Roberts) Marsh and Julian Glynn Earnest. She grew up in Hueytown, Alabama, attended Hueytown High School and graduated in North Carolina.
The first half of her professional life included medical transcription. She later graduated from Faulkner University, Magnum Cum Laude, with an Associate of Science degree and serving as a paralegal, specializing in environmental litigation. Later, she moved to Moody, Alabama, where she lived for over 20 years before moving to Tuscaloosa in 2021.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Georgia Lee Price. She is survived by her brother Jay Earnest of Section, AL; daughter, Nikki Price Christensen (Dale) of Tuscaloosa, and their children, Luke, (Emily), Sarah Beth, Rowdy, Colt, Kris, and Ruby Jane; and son, Jason Price (Meredith) from Hoover, and their children, Evie and Izzy.
Kim’s greatest joy was her family, especially her time with her grandchildren. She loved the Lord with all of her heart, enjoyed singing in the choir, and playing the piano. She was
passionate with crafting and membership in the Red Hat Society and Community Bible Study in Tuscaloosa. Kim’s legacy of love, faith, and creativity will live on through her family and her latest joy of her ministry with beautiful "Crosses Inspired" of handmade and jeweled, wall hanging art.
She will be remembered as a woman full of love for her Savior and her family, her friends, and her pets. She was a “girly girl” and loved to have her hair and nails done and have a wonderful meal ending with a night of dancing. She had a heart for ministry and caring for others. Her memory will forever make us smile.
A memorial service will be held at Capstone Church in Tuscaloosa, AL, Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 10: 00. The family will receive guests from 10:00am-12:00pm with a memorial service following.
