Kay is a Tuscaloosa native and recently celebrated working 35 years for Hunt Refining Company in the shipping department. She enjoyed her job and co-workers as much at year 35 as ever before.
Kay would make friends everywhere she went and always saw the good in everyone. One of her greatest gifts in this world was the smile on her face that she shared with all! She loved talking with her children, spending time with her family, hearing stories about what was going on in their lives and loving on her two dogs.
She was known by her family as Kay, her co-workers and friends as Ms. Kay, her children as Mom (or Kaysie if they were feeling sassy). No matter what name you knew her by, she will be loved and missed by so many.
Honorary pallbearers are employees of Hunt Refining Company and the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office.
Remembrances can be made in the form of flowers or a donation to the Humane Society of West Alabama.
