Luna Clifton Colburn Jr.

Memory Chapel Funeral Home will conduct services at Circlewood Baptist Church on Monday, January 6, 2025, with Bro. Herb Thomas presiding. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm with Church service starting at 2:00 pm. A committal service will be held at Memory Hill Gardens following the services conclusion.

Doc was preceded in death by his father, Luna Clifton Sr.; and his mother, Mauline T Colburn; his sister, Sue Harper. Grandparents: George and Mary Colburn, Bert and Lois Taylor.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy C. Colburn; daughters: Robin (Jason) Wideman, Kit Kendrick, and Lana (Brian) Sexton; his sister, Edna (William) Colburn and his brother, Rodney Colburn. Grandchildren: Hannah (Charlie) Hester, Josh (Amanda) Wideman, Caleb Wideman, Brylan (Kaylie) Sexton, Landon Sexton, and Finley Harshman. Great-grandchildren: Callaway Hester and Chance Hester.

Doc was a teacher at Tuscaloosa Christian School, Sunday school teacher at Cottondale Baptist Church and worked in the bus Ministry. He was a Postal worker and witnessed for Jesus whenever he could.

Pallbearers will be Joey Colburn, Brylan Sexton, Landon Sexton, Brian Sexton, Josh Wideman, Caleb Wideman, Charlie Hester and Jason Wideman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Circlewood Baptist Church, Johnny Jones, Calvin Parker, Ron English, Ronnie Holmes and Bill Taylor.

In Lieu of flowers please donate to Circlewood Baptist Church missions or Tuscaloosa Christian School.
