Lyman was a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit. There was know doubt this man had been with Jesus. The impact both he and Brenda made on my life as a young Christian is immeasurable. I loved Lyman.

In my last conversation with Brother Lyman I spoke of how very close Heaven is to those of us who love The Lord Jesus :) We spoke of how lovely it will be to see those whom we have loved here on earth, once again, and in the very presence of our Loving Jesus :). He spoke of how very much he missed his beloved wife, and so much looked forward to seeing her again !!! I told him how I excited I am to be there! Well, Brother Lyman has "run a fantastic race" here on Earth, and has won the greatest blessing of all....eternity with Jesus! <3<3<3 :-D Glory to God in the highest for His loving care for His Own Beloved, and for the provisions made for us in heaven :) It won't be too very much longer, saints, and we will see precious Lyman again :) {always remember THIS life is but a vapor...} and when we are there, boyyyyy, are we gonna SING!!!!!!! :-D  HALELUYAAAHHHH!!! Mr. Lyman had so much love for the Lord and for the Lord's people. It blesses me to know that he is singing to Him in glory right now with choirs of angels. See you in a little while, Mr. Lyman.

On any given day and in any circumstance, Lyman was a good and decent man.  And for many people, including this one, he represented the glimmer of hope in a storm.  The life Lyman lived on this earth was a credit to mankind, and to God.  I will always treasure his friendship.

What a mighty man of God you are Lyman. I know the Lord has many crowns for you to wear as you now worship Him in His Presence.  Such unspeakable Joy to see your loving Brenda again.   You have given so much to so many.  We will miss you but know that we will meet again.

Thank you for being my bus driver at Rosedale Church--even though I only had to walk across the street.  You and Brenda were such Godly examples.

Sweet Lyman, there is some shoutin' on them hills, some shoutin' on them hills, now that you are there with Jesus, and all of the saints, worshipping God!!!!  I can only imagine the amazing scene!!!  You lived a life for Him, and now He is saying, "Well done, good and faithful servant!!!"  May you rest in peace until we meet again!!!  Halleluia!!!  You will be sorely missed, my friend!!!

Lyman was a wonderful friend and Brother in Christ. I will miss seeing him.

Uncle Lyman and Aunt Brenda are in my earliest memories, more than 50 years ago, caring and giving and loving. They never changed. There are countless people who have thanked Lyman and Brenda Hulsey for countless reasons over the years...while at the same time we were thanking God. And so we see how that works.  I see you Uncle Lyman and Aunt Brenda.  Thank You.  I love You.

He is so loving and I wll always remember the mission trip we went to Long Island, and the hugs he gave me every Sunday at church. Now he is in God's hand and he is in peace forever!

Lyman and his family lived on 14th Street in Tuscaloosa when we were growing up.  He was my first boyfriend and we would walk to and from Stafford School together. Yes, there were times he would carry my books. I saw him about right after Brenda died at Dream Land and he was just as I remembered him from our early years. Always a gentleman, caring, and concerned for others. Now he is happy and walking streets paved with gold. Will miss you Lyman but there is no more pain. Bless you.

Even though I only known u for a short period of time it seem like I have for a pretty long time you where a good loving god fearing man you have help and done so many things for people it just hurt that you had to leave so soon but the lord saw fit for you to go home and be with him you have done your job and he want you Home. Rest In Peace Young Man.

Can't believe that he just left us. Mr. Lyman, I miss you sooo much. I still remember that last time Rong and I brought wings to you, you enjoyed it. We talked about all the restaurants you wanted to go and we made an arrangement that we will go together when you recovered from the surgery. I feel so sad that we finally don't have the chance to make it happen. I will always miss you. Rest joyfully and peacefully with God and your loving wife. We will meet again one day.

There's no doubt in my mind that Mr. Lyman is in the presence of Jesus now!!! He ran his race, he kept the faith, and now he's in heaven for eternity with (Mrs Brenda)and Jesus!!! God Bless the Hulsey family....

Letting you go, to the one that placed you here. I will miss you! You impacted my life in more ways than you will ever know! Praying for the Hulsey Family.

Lyman is a super nice man. I am so sad upon hearing his loss. I can still remember we went to fishing and he got his feet wet. He is such a nice and sacrificial person. I still remember when I applied the Chinese VISA for him and took a picture of him. He just never got a chance to go to China. I am so sad that I will never see him again on earth. But I am also peaceful that I will see him again in heaven.
I still remember he really loves Chinese food.

Lyman Hulsey was a mighty man of God. My heart is SO SAD to have to let him go. He was the most kind,loving, caring man and expressed his care and concern for others so beautifully and sacrificially. He was concerned about people's needs but most importantly, concerned about their soul. He was a very witty man. I imagine Jesus to have a sense of humor much like Lyman's. To me, he truly was "Jesus with skin on". Oh how we will all miss him here on this earth! SO thankful that we will meet again in Heaven. He "fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith".(2 Timothy 4:7) I know he heard these words as he entered Heaven... Well done, good and faithful servant! My thoughts and prayers are with Mark, Shane and Mr. Lyman's extended family and friends in this time of loss.
