Marilyn Rose McCaleb Neighbors, age 87, passed away December 24, 2023 at Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023 in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Cal Holt officiating.
Ms. Neighbors was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Manly Neighbors, Jr.; parents, Finis and Beatrice McCaleb; and brother, Robert McCaleb.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Beasley (Rodney) of Tuscaloosa and Nikki Perez (Rob) of Atlanta; son Robert Manly “Trace” Neighbors III (Paula) of Tuscaloosa; grandchildren, Caitlin Freelend (Jon), Manly Neighbors IV, Kyle Neighbors (Michelle), Parker Sheffield (Liz), Griffin Sheffield, Abner Perez (Rita Deitz), Polly Perez, and Ripp Perez; and great-grandchildren, Griffin Freelend, Riley Rose Freelend, Park Sheffield, and Harley Rose Sheffield.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Beasley, Rob Perez, Manly Neighbors, Parker Sheffield, Kyle Neighbors, Griffin Sheffield, Abner Perez, and Ripp Perez.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marilyn’s memory to Hospice of West Alabama or First Presbyterian Church Tuscaloosa.
