Marjorie Freeman, age 88, of Coker, Alabama passed into Heaven on October 8, 2022 at Hospice of West Alabama. She was a loyal and loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved God with her whole heart. We know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John D. Freeman; daughter Pat Gregg (Roy); sons David (Rhonda) and Ken Freeman; grandchildren Kamie Mealer, April Elledge (Charles), Daniel Pearson (Angela), Leslie Ann Albright (Jamey), Jonathan Freeman, Taylor Freeman James (Crawford), Chad Doty; great grandchildren Chris (Briley), Katie and Hunter Powell, Charleigh, Harper and Cade Elledge, Haley Freeman, Emmalee Burnham, Anley and Chase Albright, and Huxley James; great-great grandchildren Paxton and Saydee Powell; brother Terry Yarbrough and sister in law Glenda Yarbrough, and several nieces and nephews.
She was the embodiment of a Proverbs 31 woman. “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. Many woman do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
