TUSCALOOSA – Martha “Rose” Holliman, age 82, passed away April 23, 2021 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. James Walker, Pastor Mark Aills, and Rev. Bernie Deffinger officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Mrs. Holliman was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Dan Ewing; children, Wanda and Dwight; brothers, Gene Ewing and Wade Ewing; and sister-in-law, Gail Poole. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Billy F. Holliman; daughters, Rita Pate (Danny) and Lisa Wienecke (Joe); sister, Connie Gaddy; sisters-in-law, Nancy Ewing and Pat Ewing; brother, Steve Ewing (Eleanor); grandchildren, Sheri Taylor (Shane), Jason Pate (Jennifer), Haley Hitt (Jeremy), Kristina Mills, Scott Harless, Adam Wienecke, Matthew Wienecke, and Nick Wienecke; great-grandchildren, Zeb Pate, Jack Hallmark, Braden Hitt, Ella Pate, Barrett Hitt, Chloe Taylor, and Greyson Taylor; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jason Pate, Zeb Pate, Scott Harless, W.C. Gaddy, and Bryan Ewing. Honorary pallbearers are Jack Hallmark, Jeremy Hitt, Jeff Ewing, Tony Ewing, sisters-in-law: Bobbie, Pat, Judy, Dianne, Debbie, and Terrie, Tuscaloosa First Church of the Nazarene, Nurses and staff of Hospice of West Alabama, and Nurses and staff of DCH Regional Medical Center.
