Martha Pearl Rice, age 82, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away at DCH Regional Medical Center on June 9, 2026. A Graveside Service will be held at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 12:00 pm with Bro. Jimmy Gardner officiating. Visitation will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
Martha was preceded in death by her mother, Donnie Dell South; father, Foster Rice; stepfather, Frank South; brother, Festus Rice; sister-in-law, Jackie Rice.
She is preceded in death by her nephew, Mikel Rice; niece, Angela Rice; great-nieces, Jessica Rice and Faith Rice.
Honorary pallbearers are 7N Nurses/ Staff at DCH Regional Medical Center, Hospice of West Alabama, past employees of Morrison Cafeteria, and special friend and caregiver, Liz Rubio.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of West Alabama.
