Mary Lynn Barnett, age 57, of Tuscaloosa, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2010, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
She was preceded in death by her father, Meryl A. Severson, and brother, Karl Ordis Severson.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Barnett; daughter, Renee Butler Norris (Karey) of Dora, Ala.; son, Scott Barnett (Sarah) of La Habra, Calif.; brother, Meryl A Severson II (Georgia) of Omaha, Neb.; mother, Gretchen Severson of Omaha, Neb.; and grandchildren, Cooper Garrett Norris and Cheyenne Taylor Barnett.
She was a longstanding employee of the Bank of Tuscaloosa for twenty years. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother; she will be missed by all who knew her.
Honorary pallbearers are Ron Henry, Jerry Williams, Tim K. Butler, and current and former employees of Bank of Tuscaloosa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of West Alabama or the American Cancer Society.
