Mary Louise Beckman

MOUNDVILLE – Mary Louise Beckman, age 69, passed away November 12, 2021. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2021 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. A private service will be held for the family and Ms. Beckman will be laid to rest in Memory Hill Gardens.

Ms. Beckman was preceded in death by her son, Chalmer Douglas Salyers, Jr.; parents, Hazel Gertrude and Edmond Eugene Borders; sister, Sandy Faye Dotson; and brother, Samuel Eugene Borders.

She is survived by her daughter, Shalamarie Louise Wood of Moundville, Ala.; brothers, Edmond Dean Borders (Paula) of Wauseon, Ohio and Ronald Lee Borders, Sr. (Diane) of Weston, Ohio; sisters, Shirley Hyatt of Gun City, Mo., Bonnie Sexton of Wauseon, Ohio, Patty Wiseman of Napoleon, Ohio, Dorothy Hoover of Napoleon, Ohio, Judy Rodriguez of Wauseon, Ohio, and Tammy Borders of McDermott, Ohio; grandson, Charles Adam Salyers (Ashley) of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and great-granddaughters, Ashtyn and Ava.

Mary was born in Lucasville, Ohio and raised in Weston, Ohio. She worked in production most of her life, working hard to raise her two children by herself. Her main focus was taking care of her kids; family was everything to her. She lived life to the fullest and on her terms.

Pallbearers will be William Borders, Shannon Hoover, Donald Hoover, Nathan Donley, James Dotson, and Brian Dotson.
