
Mary Lou Boothe, age 82, of Coker, died Dec. 20, 2010, at Heritage Health Care and Rehabilitation. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Skelton and Rev. Kenneth Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Boothe; daughter, Cecila Hudson; father, Purnell Prichett; mother, Avis Prichett; sister, Jean Boothe; and brother, David Prichett.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Skelton (Frank); sons, Kenneth Boothe (Jan), Don Boothe (Jan), and Phillip Boothe; brother, Joe Prichett; and grandchildren, Angela Oliver, Alisha Boothe, Kenneth Boothe, Kandie Brewer, Joseph D. Boothe, II, Johnathan Boothe, Crystal Robertson, Nicole Dover, River Boothe, and Little Phillip Boothe; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Boothe served as a loving mother and wife with her husband Doyle Boothe for 25 years. She was devoted to her five children and grandchildren that followed. She attended Northport Church of God until her health declined and she was no longer able to attend.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Branham, Bart Prichett, Brayden Brewer, Johnathan Boothe, Joseph D. Boothe II, and Kenneth Boothe.
Honorary pallbearers are Heritage Health Care staff and caregivers, for all of your love and care you showed to her; Rev. George Jackson, for all of your acts of kindness over the past 10 years to her and her family; Amedisys Hospice, for your compassion; and Dr. Alldredge and staff.
