Mary Patton Eatman Inge, born January 18, 1925, died peacefully at her home on June 26, 2021. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 28 at 2 PM at Mesopotamia Cemetery in Eutaw, Alabama with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, A Dignity Memorial Provider directing. A reception will be held after the service at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank Irvin and Eola Jane Patton Eatman, her husband Bernard Harwood Inge, her brother Curtis Irvin Inge, and sister-in-law Betty Eatman Haynes.
Survivors include her daughters Teresa Beeker (Chip) and Mary Bernard Scott (Drew); grandchildren Diana Beeker Browing (Brandon), Stephen Inge Beeker (Elizabeth), Chris Vernon Beeker III (Carlley), Andrew Corbett Scott III, Teresa Scott Roberts (Jeremy), and Bernard Harwood Scott (Lacey); great grandchildren Patton Browning, Braune Browning, Abbotte Browning, Oliver Browning, William Beeker, Anna Christian Beeker, Holly Beeker, Winn Beeker, Ford Beeker, Harwood Beeker, Mary Howard Beeker, Frank Roberts, Harry Roberts, Drew Scott and Mamie Scott.
Her most enjoyable time was spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved bridge, the beach and traveling.
Mary Patton attended Judson College and graduate from the University of Alabama where she was a member of Tri Delta Sorority.
In regard to her life, she expressed that “she loved Jesus, her church, smelled the roses, and loved doing for others.”
