Mattie Lou Morrison

Mattie Lou Weeks Morrison, 89, passed away May 3, 2022 at her residence in Tuscaloosa.

God was her chosen portion, the Bread of Life she feasted on day-after day.

She was a prayer warrior, avid reader, and talented crafter. Her easy laughter and love-filled eyes

will be missed by her sons: Larry Morrison (Sallie), Paul Morrison (Judy), Bart Morrison (Janet), her

grandchildren: Lindsay Brewer (Adam), Katie Beavers, Susan Anglebrant (Wes), Kathey Morrison,

Melanie Campbell, Melissa Head (Caleb), Jason Morrison, Adam Morrison (Betsy), Jennifer Chadwick

(Nathan) and her great-grandchildren: Timothy and Nathan Brewer, Grayson Anglebrant, Rylee Morrison

Styles, Ray Head, and Ford Morrison. Her parents, Coey and Myrtie Bell Weeks; her husband, Luther;

her daughter Carolyn Campbell; and an infant daughter preceded her in death. Her celebration of life

service will be held on Friday, May 06, 2022, at 11AM from Memory Chapel Funeral Home, with Dr. Larry Morrison and Dr. Herb Thomas officiating. A visitation will begin at 10am, prior to the service. Interment will be at Memory Hill Gardens, Garden of Gethsemane. Services are entrusted to Memory Chapel of Tuscaloosa, a Dignity Memorial provider.
