Miles Franklin Bullock, age 60, of Bessemer, died Feb. 18, 2012, at UAB Hospital. Memorial services will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Jerry Deasy officiating and Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Loan Bullock; his mother, Velma Bullock; two sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Bobbie Jean Brown; his daughters, Kimberley Uhlenhopp, Stacey Bullock Pope, and Jennifer Bullock; his sons, Christian Bullock and Matthew Bullock; his sister, Janice Hubbard; his brothers, Leonard Bullock and Jimmy Don Bullock; nine grandchildren; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bullock was born May 24, 1951, in Monticello, Ark. He was a Tuscaloosa resident for 14 years, where he was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and The Knights of Columbus. He was employed for 29 years at Genuine Parts Company.
