Nancy Colson Gonzalez, age 65, passed away Friday, August 23, 2019 at Moundville Health and Rehabilitation. Nancy was born in St. Louis, MO and later lived and attended high school in Hollywood, FL. In 1983, Nancy and her family moved to Greensboro, AL where she held various jobs in the childcare industry. In her final years, Nancy lived in Moundville, AL where she was cared for by family and healthcare specialist/friend, Angie James.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Pauline Colson, and her former spouse/good friend, Bill Gonzalez. She is survived by her three children Jason Gonzalez (Krystal), Shanda Johnson (Billy), and Jeffrey Gonzalez (Natalie), her 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. At the request of the deceased, a private memorial for immediate family will be held in Eutaw, AL at a later date.
