Born on September 27, 1949, in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, Nancy was the beloved daughter of the late Alsy and Myrtle Boyd. She was preceded by all her siblings-AV (Helen) Boyd, KC (Agnes) Boyd, Jay Boyd, Dub Boyd, James Boyd, Vonnie (Louis) Smith, Sarah (Billy Joe) Williams, and Mary Boyd, each of whom she held close to her heart.
Nancy's life was a testament to love and dedication, especially to her surviving family, including her devoted husband of 53 years, Carol Revice Snider. Together, they built a life rich in love and laughter, nurturing a family that became her greatest joy. She is survived by her children, Tommy (Stephanie) Rogers, Tammy (Jeff) Blackerby, and Kim Gregory, Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Josh (Megan) Blackerby, Garrett (Macie) Rogers, Grant (Ashley) Rogers, and Ella Grace Blackerby, and her precious great-grandchildren, Mason, Presley, Molly, and Emersyn Blackerby, and Baby Waylon Rogers. Nancy's extended family, including her sisters-in-law, Brenda Boyd Morris and Debbie Burkhalter, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews, also hold her memory dear.
She spent 18 years working at Sam's Club, where she formed many meaningful friendships and was known for her warm spirit and dedication. She had a kind, caring, and giving heart and was a true friend to so many. Nancy had a special way of making others feel comfortable, welcomed, and cared for. Her colleagues and friends were often drawn to her gentle spirit and the kindness she shared so freely.
Outside of work, she found joy in life's simple pleasures. She tended to her garden and flowers with love and care, listened to her collection of wind chimes, and delighted in watching and caring for her many hummingbirds. Her family was at the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent together, whether it was during holiday gatherings, Sunday dinners, or cheering on Alabama football with her loved ones.
Above all, she will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the love she shared so freely with those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, providing comfort in the days ahead and a lasting reminder of a life so beautifully lived.
