I met Oinest at a Sartain reunion in Oakman in August 1986. This was in the very beginning of my genealogical interest in the Sartain family (my mother was a Sartain from Troy, AL). I remember Oinest's enthusiasm and friendliness. I regret we did not stay in touch.

Thank you, Oinest, for helping me get started in the family research that I still pursue to this day.
