Opal Duncan Martin, age 91, of Carrollton, was called home by her Lord June 12, 2013, at Sansing Country Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Lee Vail and Jimmy Garner officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She follows the journey of her beloved husband, Dowell Martin; daughter, Linda Sue Montgomery; special son, Jessie W. “Charlie” Montgomery; granddaughter, Tami Legler; and great-granddaughter, Charlee Lynn Jacobs.
She leaves behind her daughter, Delores Leger and special son Ted Leger; brother, Raymond Duncan; grandsons, Devin Leger (Traci) and Matthew Montgomery (Beth); granddaughter, Jessica Jacobs (Chris); and five special great-grandchildren.
She was a wonderful, loving mother and a beloved grandmother. She loved and was loved by many.
