Opal Mae Smelley, age 84, of Coker, died May 19, 2014. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Bessie Harless; husband, Joseph Smelley; and great-granddaughter, Katie Claire Smelley.Survivors include her sons, Wayne Smelley (Vicki), Nick Smelley (Kathy) and David Smelley (Sherry); sister, Sallie Kettlehut; brother, Bill Harless (Susan); six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Dustin Robertson, Nick Smelley, Jr., John Tyler Smelley, Josh Sexton, Joe Hewitt, Brad Hensel, and Cory Sullivan
