Patricia Rushing

NORTHPORT - Patricia Pinion Rushing, age 77, of Northport, Al., passed away July 22, 2026, surrounded by family at Hospice of West Alabama. Service will be Monday, July 27, 2026, at 1 PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Hill Gardens. Gene Dockery will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Rushing; father, Charlie Pinion; and mother, Faye Clary. While the family grieves her loss, they find comfort in knowing she is reunited with the love of her life.

Survivors include her sons, Stephen Lance Rushing (Crystal) and Jason Todd Rushing (Renae); brother, Jerry Pinion (Jennifer); grandchildren, Peyton Rushing, Heather Richardson, Heidi Grant, Everly Grace Rushing, Adalyn Rushing, Courtney Lesley and Andrew Stephens; great-grandchildren, Liam Logan, Emerson Lesley, Maggie Lesley, Tucker Lesley, Hadley Stephens, Parker Stephens, Clara Richardson and Charlie Richardson; and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia Rushing was raised in Northport, Alabama. She graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 1966. She married the love of her life, Larry, in 1967. Together they had two sons, Lance and Jason. She loved everything about life, spending time with her family, visits to her cabin on the river, shopping, and her faithful furry companions, Maggie and Poppy. Patricia was one of the kindest, most generous, and loving mother, mother-in-law, sister, friend, and Nana we could have known. Her passing came as a shock, and she will be greatly missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her. The family expresses appreciation for prayers and condolences during this difficult time.
