Paul W. Stephens

Paul was born in Gordo, Alabama on March 13,1939 to the late G.R. and Ethel McPherson Stephens. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte, his sons Billy Shane and Terry Wayne and daughter Paula Ann; his sisters; Shirley, Josie, Margie, Sylvia and his brothers Robert and William "Buddy".

Paul is survived by his son Paul Darin, sisters Glenda and Peggy, Brothers Ronnie, Jerry & Danny, grandchildren Kellsey (Chris) Cohen, Kirstyn (Tristan) Shipman, Cheyenne Stephens, Casey Stephens, Britny Stephens, Cameron (Jennifer) McCarthy, Tj Stephens, Billy Shane Stephens Jr., great grandchildren Kayden Lee James Stephens, Liam Tristan Charles Shipman, Peyton Noel Brasher, Ezekiel Atlas, Elyza Atlas and Alek McCarthy.

Paul always enjoyed the time he got to spend with his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed his time working at Pullman Standard with his father and brothers and later went on to run his own lumber mill business. Paul was loved by his family, friends and community dearly. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Celebration of Life Funeral Services will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday with Bro Ken Spencer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in Reno Baptist Church Cemetery near McCalla.
