Philip Morris Banks

Philip Morris Banks, age 85, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Hospice of West Alabama. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm.

Philip is preceded in death by his parents, John and Bessie Banks; brothers, Billy Banks and Johnny Banks; grandson, Cortarvis R. Williams JR.; granddaughter, Cortayvian R. Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Banks; daughters, Beth Banks, Alice Junkins (Chad), and Carla Lindley (Edward); sons, Brian Banks (Julie) and Carl Kizziah "Bubba"; grandchildren, Jeremyah Banks, MaKayla Williams, Jayden Williams, Jacarius Williams, Macy Banks, Maggie Banks, Mitch Junkins, Bradley Junkins, Kristen Junkins, Joshua Lindley, Brittany Kizziah, Brooklyn Kizziah, Garron Kizziah, Ramsey Kizziah Shore and Malorie Kizziah; 11 great grandchildren.

Philip was a well devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed time with his family, going to the beach, NASCAR and football. Philip served four years in the Air Force. His last moments of life was spent surrounded by his family. We rest knowing that he is with Jesus suffering no more and we will all be back with him again.

Pallbearers will be Chad Junkins, Edward Lindley, Bradley Junkins, Alex Boyd, Joshua Lindley, Landon Purcell, Jeremyah Banks, Karson Junkins, Jayden Williams and Fisher Junkins.

Honorary pallbearers are Robert and Bonnie Culp, John Hinton, Heidi, Byron and Troy Sellers, 4 North of DCH MICU, Northport DCH Rehab, Hospice of West Alabama and Tosyali International.
