Rachael Wright Jones, age 56, died February 12, 2024 at UAB Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 10:00a.m. Friday, February 16,2024 at Circlewood Baptist Church with Bro. Herb Thomas officiating.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas “Tom” Wright.
Survivors include her husband, J. Todd Jones; daughter, Chandler Williams (Justin); mother, Lois Wright; and brothers Thomas “Tommy” Wright (Laura) and Timothy Wright.
Rachael, born in Demopolis, Alabama November 9, 1967, retired from the University of Alabama after 25 years. She was a devoted wife for 31 years and a compassionate and selfless mother. Rachael was a shining light for the Lord. She was an active member at Circlewood Baptist Church where she combined her love of Jesus with her passion for teaching children as a Sunday School teacher and Elementary Sunday School director for over 20 years. She was and will always be a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.
