Randy Hayes

Randy Hayes of Cottondale, AL, passed away on January 26, 2025. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Chuck Weaver officiating and burial to follow at Memory Hill Gardens. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

He is preceded in death by his mother Shirley Hayes, daughter Haley Hayes, brother Michael Hayes, grandparents Gladys and I.B. Baggett, and Malcolm Hayes Sr. and Lucille Grier.

He is survived by his wife Teresa Hayes, son Tyler Hayes, daughter-in-law, Sayde Hayes, grandson Tucker Hayes, father Charlie Ray Hayes, brother Ray Hayes, brother Rick Hayes, and sister Carla Hayes.

As a loving husband, Randy shared 41 years of marriage with his wife, Teresa, whom he loved deeply. Randy was a welder by trade but had retired to spend more time at home with family which he loved greatly. His greatest joy was spending time and playing with his grandson, Tucker.

Pallbearers are Sonny Hayes, Luke Hayes, Logan Hayes, Darrell Barger, Bill Milam, and John Toxey.

Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Christopher Roney and the nursing staff at DCH MICU including Malaysia, Donna, and Lauren. Price Construction Company, Carl and Kathy Price, John and Sandy Toxey, Erika Toxey, Paige Toxey, and Buddy Jones.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wildwood Baptist Church.
