Rebecca Ruth Meaney

A visitation will be held at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home on December 9th, 2022 at 12:00p.m. Following the visitation, a Graveside service will be held at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park at 1:00p.m. with Randy Beard officiating.

Rebecca Ruth Meaney is preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Meaney; Son, John Carroll Meaney; Father, J.O. Colburn; Sisters, Patty Wilson and Sharon Smithson; Brothers, Bo Colburn and Donnie Colburn.

Rebecca Ruth Meaney is survived by Sons, Michael “Joey” Meaney (Donna) and James Meaney (Melissa); Brother, Billy Jack Colburn; Mother, Dixie Colburn Watts; Grandchildren, Corey Meaney (Erin), Austin Meaney (Maddie), Michael Meaney, Carroll Meaney (Vince), and Great-grandson Luke Meaney.

Rebecca, A lifelong resident of Tuscaloosa, she owned and managed Meaney’s flowers with the love of her life, Mickey Meaney. Her greatest accomplishments was marrying her first and only love in her life. She was a wonderful, caring, and loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed.

Pallbearers will be Corey Meaney, Austin Meaney, Michael Meaney, Trip Smithson, Cody Elliott, and Chris Folsom.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tim & Diane Kimbrow, and Englewood Baptist Church.
