

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, with Ken Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Rena was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Anderson Sr.; her mother, Thelma McClelland; her father, Richard L. McClelland; her brothers, Paul McClelland, Richard McClelland II, and Charles McClelland; and her sisters, Gladys Anderson, Inez Stone, and Betty Jean Ward.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Anderson Paris (husband Roger Paris); her son, Robert (Bobby) Eugene Anderson Jr. (wife Sherry Anderson); her sisters, JoAnn McClelland Cater and Linda McClelland Snyder; her grandchildren, Tina Kallenberg, (husband Randolph Kallenberg) Christopher Murray, Jon Anderson, Jennifer Anderson, Ashley Anderson Flowers; her great-grandchildren, Hudson Kallenberg, Vivien Louise Kallenberg, Kylie Flowers, Hailee Anderson, Jaxon Anderson, Ari McCoy, Bella Morena, and Josette Morena; and extended family members, Ronnie Mitchell and Peggy Mitchell Atchison.
Rena Louise McClelland Anderson was born in Frostproof, Florida, to Richard and Thelma McClelland, the eldest daughter of nine children. Rena loved sports and was her high school basketball captain and prom queen of her class. Immediately after graduation, she joined the United States Air Force. On a trip to visit her aunt in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, she met the love of her life, Robert (Gene), as everyone called him. Together, they raised two children, Theresa and Bobby, to become productive adults and became “Gima” to six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Rena was a devout Christian and a proud member of Little Sandy Baptist Church since 1961. She dedicated her life to her church as a Sunday School teacher and Vacation Bible School teacher. Rena Louise Anderson left her earthly home for her heavenly home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, and the love of her life, her beloved husband, Gene Anderson, on December 23, 2025.
Pallbearers will be Chris Murray, Jon Anderson, Larry Elmore, Johnny Taylor, Randolph Kallenberg, Steve Hancock, and Ronnie Anderson.
Honorary pallbearers are Gary Anderson, Ronnie Mitchell, members of Little Sandy Baptist Church, and Hudson Kallenberg.
