MOUNDVILLE – Rita C. Harper, age 91, of Hale Co., died September 27, 2021 at Moundville Health & Rehabilitation. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Mt. Carmel Methodist Church with Arthur Thomas officiating.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis, of 62 years. Her parents were Felice and Angela Massei and had 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Survivors include daughters Mary Ann Hinton, Elsie Hale, and Christine Bostwick. Sons Jerry Harper and Phill Harper. She has 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ron Hale, Brian Hale, Jim Bostwick, Hunter Harper, Derek Gilliam and Ray Seales.
Honorary pallbearers are Gentry Waddell, Mildred, Betty, Lynn and Barbara and Moundville Health and Rehabilitation.
