NORTHPORT – Rita Mae Welch, age 89, of Northport, died January 20, 2016, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2016, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with John Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ollie Moore; brother, Douglas Moore; and sisters, Irma Bouchillon and Louise Harkey.Survivors include her daughters, Linda Pearson of Northport, Ala. and Diane Black (Sidney Arlo) of Northport, Ala.; sister, Mary Ellen Smith (Ben); grandchildren, Steve Pearson, Cindy Lambert, Tracie Pearson Edgar (James), Scott Pearson, Dana Heaton (Tim) and Wesley Jackson (Jaime); and seven great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Steve Pearson, Tim Heaton, James Edgar, Trey Lambert, Cooper Heaton and Sid Black.
