Robert Fulton Glass Jr.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 pm on July 20, 2026 at St. Francis of Assisi University Parish with Father Mugagga officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm.

Robert Fulton Glass Jr. "Bob" was born on October 2, 1949, in Birmingham, Alabama. Bob was the son of Robert Fulton Glass Sr. and Ruby Stone Glass, who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Glass and his niece, Stevie Glass.

Bob proudly served in the United States Navy as an aircraft mechanic before building careers in banking, life insurance, and sales. More than any job title, he valued the relationships he built along the way. He enjoyed talking with people, making friends wherever he went, and was happiest when surrounded by family and good conversation. A devoted Alabama football fan, Bob rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on the Crimson Tide. He was a proud father and grandfather who delighted in his daughters and grandchildren, celebrating their milestones, sharing stories and making memories together. He was a man of faith and devout Catholic. Bob will be remembered for his warm heart, easy smile, and genuine care for others. His kindness, sense of humor and love for his family left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He is survived by his daughters, Shannon Smith (Jeremy), Stacey Malstrom (Christian), Seton Hansen (Slade) and Samantha Glass; his grandchildren, Carter, Gillian, Ian, Gavin, Violet and Hollis; sister-in-law, Mary Glass, and the mother of his children, Jamie Stanley.

The family asks that, Bob's memory, you spend time with the people you love, share a story with a friend and when football season arrives, cheer a little louder for Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Smith, Christian Malstrom, Slade Hansen, Carter Malstrom, Matt Briggs and Sullivan Briggs.
